Message from Mrs. Spence

Dear Sandpiper Family,

As we charter a new course together with Home and Distance Learning, the Dune Lakes Elementary Administration and Staff are here for you!  COVID-19 has impacted our community in ways we have not seen before.  Schools will now and always support student learning but in a much different way than we have seen before.  Dune Lakes is a Google Classroom school with students who are very familiar with digital learning.  This webpage is specifically designed to support the needs of our students and parents as we launch our At Home Learning Program beginning the week of March 23rd.   And for students who do not have access to digital learning, printed portfolios will be available for student learning.
Working together, we can ensure students are learning and building a strong academic foundation!
Meredith Spence, Principal

End of Year Plans

Walton County Schools and Dune Lakes Elementary School will continue the school year with Distance Learning. Following are important due dates and end of year events for your planning. May 20th-22nd will provide the opportunity for teachers to provide your students with their belongings from the classroom as well as end of year special recognition resources. The distribution will be staggered to follow social distancing protocols and limit exposure in a safe way. Yearbooks will be delivered during the summer. Once received, we will notify for pick up. Please do not hesitate to call the school if you have questions or need additional information.
