Dune Lakes Families are Invited to Participate in the International Coastal Clean-up 2020!

Join us on Saturday, September 26th from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the Orange St Access in Inlet Beach.

For the second year, Dune Lakes Elementary School is excited to participate in the South Walton International Coastal Clean-Up.

Our Dune Lakes families are invited to participate in the clean-up on Saturday, September 26th from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the Orange Street Beach Access in Inlet Beach (139 S Orange St., Inlet Beach, FL 32461). This community clean-up event is timely given the increased amount of debris expected on beaches due to Hurricane Sally.

The 2020 International Coastal Clean-up event will be modified due to COVID-19 restrictions and families or small groups are asked to social distance and a face covering is highly recommended. Also, there will be no RSVP this year and participants are asked to please check-in with the on location contact, Lindsey Harp. You will be asked to confirm the names in your group and the time spent collecting debris.

All participants are encouraged to provide their own trash bags or buckets, gloves, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, etc.  There will be limited bags/gloves available for those without.

Questions?  Please e-mail Lindsey Harp at [email protected]. You can also learn more by visiting International Coastal Clean-up directly.
